'Let's not talk'
8.09.2015
'Let's not talk' She said from across the table. 'Our silence is enough'
'Enough isn't us' I replied, fiercely.
Her glare, cold as ice, was sufficient. Her words only added more lines to here weary face. 'Well now it is. And I, nor you, can change that.'
I didn't bother to reply. Only glance about the room, my gaze caught on small details.
The way the walls were smooth and grey.
The ceiling and floor, white.
Only one light, wood door without a window.
A table and two chairs, the same color as the door.
No cameras or windows, as far as I could tell.
Isis, still glaring at me, scrunched her nose. 'Knock it off. I know your trying to find a way out, Jazz. But we can't leave until-'
'Mr. Donnel comes back.' I finish and roll my eyes. All Isis wants is to please Mr. Donnel, the wicked man who took Isis and I from our parents.
The man who ruined our friendship.

I say we vote Mr. Donnel off the island. Let's make him sit in a copper footbath on the tallest hill during a lightning storm. Tell him he's king of the land and give him a gold scepter. That arogant a-hole will announce (ok. Enough with the alliteration.) to the earth that Thor is a trigger-happy poop head.
ReplyDeleteBoy this is going to end real well for Mr. Donnel, isn't it?
:D:D:D:D
DeleteNo, it will not.
